Although Satomura has competed in other promotions during her retirement tour, including this show at Chapter 177, she is still listed as an NXT talent on WWE’s official roster.

With rumors circulating about the possibility of Satomura having one last WWE match, a new report suggests that the international star is finished wrestling for the company. According to Fightful Select, sources within NXT believe Satomura’s house show match against Bayley marked her ‘WWE farewell’ ahead of her retirement. Satomura famously challenged Bayley for the WWE Women’s Championship during a July 27, 2024, house show in Tokyo, Japan, which was announced shortly after Satomura initially revealed her retirement plans.
