Multiverse United 2023: Only the Strong Survive 2023 event was a joint-collaboration event between IMPACT Wrestling and NJPW. The event took place on March 30, 2023, as part of WrestleCon 2023 at Globe Theater in Los Angeles, CA, during WrestleMania 39 weekend.

Trey Miguel (c) vs. Clark Connors vs. Frankie Kazarian vs. Kevin Knight vs. Rich Swann vs. Rocky Romero
Chaotic combat, with some somewhat choreographed parts, but no great story. It was a kind of showcase in which champion Trey Miguel got the upper hand.

Multiverse United 2023 | Alex Coughlin, Callihan, Fred Rosser and PCO vs. Eddie Edwards, Joe Hendry, JR Kratos and Tom Lawlor
Another showcase, this time with some history, a team fight that culminated in a confrontation between the powerful PCO and JR Kratos, with PCO winning after a PCOsault .

Multiverse United 2023 | Jeff Cobb vs. Moose
Fighting between heavyweights, although Moose is taller and more muscular. Despite Moose’s excellent replica, Jeff Cobb achieved triumph after performing a Tour Of The Islands.

Multiverse United 2023 | Deonna Purrazzo vs. Gisele Shaw vs. Masha Slamovich vs. Miyu Yamashita
Another kind of showcase in which everyone had the opportunity to shine. The victory ended up smiling to Deonna Purrazzo, after a Queen’s Gambit on Gisele Shaw.

Bullet Club (Ace Austin and Chris Bey) (c) vs. Aussie Open (Kyle Fletcher and Mark Davis) vs. The Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin) vs. TMDK (Bad Dude Tito and Shane Haste)
Another chaotic match, in which only two men were legal in the ring at the same time, which didn’t bother the six illegals too much, who gradually became less and less limited to being at the edge of the ring waiting for a tag . In the midst of chaos, the champions managed to retain the belts after finishing and settling on one of the TMDK elements.

Multiverse United 2023 | Kushida vs. Lio Rush
A very technical match, as expected, with a lot of chain wrestling and submissions that everyone knows will go nowhere. After suffering a Reverse Rana and a Springboard Stunner that almost dictated defeat, Kushida reached the triumph via submission, through a Hoverboard Lock .

Multiverse United 2023 | Strong Openweight Championship : Kenta (c) vs. Minoru Suzuki
He fights with some stiff moments , like the various exchanges of slaps and elbows, usually promoted by Suzuki. Kenta, in turn, was more provocative and more likely to play dirty, which was evident when he applied a low blow and then advanced to the victorious landing using the ropes to increase pressure on the opponent.

Multiverse United 2023 | Mike Bailey vs. Hiroshi Tanahashi
Animated match between one of Impact Wrestling’s figures and one of New Japan Pro Wrestling’s stars. Although Mike Bailey had his moments to shine, it was Tanahashi who came out on top after a High Fly Flow , after a series of Swing Neckbreakers and a Sling Blade .
