Pro Wrestling Illustrated (PWI) have revealed the Top 20 of their 2024 PWI 250 – Women’s list. Last month PWI released its Top 500 male wrestlers list that saw the current Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes finish in first place. PWI is an American professional wrestling magazine that was founded in 1979. The magazine was founded by Stanley Weston and it is headquartered in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania.
Pro Wrestling Illustrated (PWI) holds the record as the longest-running English-language wrestling magazine still in production. It is also famously referred to as the “Apter Mag,” named after its long-time photographer, Bill Apter.
The timeframe used to measure each performer’s success was August 1, 2023, to July 31, 2024. After releasing their top 500 male wrestlers list last month, PWI has now unveiled the top 500 female wrestlers for 2024. Cody Rhodes, the current Undisputed WWE Champion, topped the list of the top 500 male wrestlers, marking the first time he achieved this after a career-high of sixth in 2022.

All Elite Wrestling (AEW) star “Timeless” Toni Storm claimed the top spot on this year’s list. She dominated the AEW women’s division for nine months.
Storm was defeated by Mariah May on August 25, 2024, for the AEW Women’s World Championship. Despite initially starting as a heel in 2023, Storm became one of the company’s most popular figures. TNA Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace finished second on the list. Grace had an impressive year, with standout performances in the 2024 Royal Rumble and NXT. She has held the Knockouts title since January 13, 2024, winning it for the third time at Hard to Kill 2024 after defeating Trinity.
