Slam Dunk, the UK’s biggest independent rock festival, is back for 2025 with a highly anticipated first wave of artist announcements. After a “triumphant” showing this past summer, the festival is set to deliver an even more epic lineup. Fans can expect a blend of pop-punk, emo, metal, ska, and more, headlined by A Day To Remember, Electric Callboy, and Neck Deep, along with 20+ world-class acts.
Slam Dunk 2025 kicks off at Hatfield Park on Saturday, May 24th, followed by Leeds’ Temple Newsam on Sunday, May 25th. Tickets go on sale Friday, September 6th at 10am via www.slamdunkfestival.com.
For the first time, Slam Dunk will feature A Day To Remember, a band heavily requested by fans. As they prepare for their North American tour next month, their UK festival debut at Slam Dunk is set to be one of the most talked-about performances of the year. Don’t miss the chance to catch ADTR’s return to the UK stage for this exclusive performance!
Electric Callboy is also set to bring their electrifying energy to Slam Dunk 2025. Known for their explosive blend of metalcore and electronicore, the German six-piece has garnered global acclaim for their unique sound and unforgettable live shows, making their appearance one of the most anticipated sets of the festival.
Next up is Neck Deep, long-time Slam Dunk favourites who will return to the festival stage after a massive, sold-out performance at Alexandra Palace this year. Their “mega-show” has cemented them as a must-see act, and their Slam Dunk set is sure to deliver more of their signature pop-punk anthems.
Fans of Alkaline Trio will also be treated to new material from their 2024 album Blood, Hair, and Eyeballs, along with a catalogue of their classic hits. Additionally, AS IT IS will reunite exclusively for Slam Dunk, celebrating the 10th anniversary of Never Happy, Ever After.
Yorkshire’s own Delilah Bon, known for her genre-blending fusion of hip hop, punk, and nu-metal, is set to deliver an unapologetically fierce performance. Adding to the lineup, South Wales alt-rockers Dream State, fresh off their Still Dreaming EP release, and rising Kent nu-metal band Graphic Nature, will bring even more firepower to the Slam Dunk stages in 2025.
Slam Dunk 2025 continues to stack its lineup with emocore legends and rising stars. Fans of classic emo will be thrilled to see Hit The Lights on the bill. Formed in 2003, the band has become a staple of the genre, and their Slam Dunk set promises a nostalgic trip packed with energy and anthems. Meanwhile, new emo favourites Hot Mulligan are riding high on well-earned hype and will bring their infectious hooks and high-energy live show to the festival.
Celebrating the 10th anniversary of Copacetic, Knuckle Puck will make their return to Slam Dunk with a set that’s sure to evoke fervent unity. With tracks like “Disdain” and “Untitled,” they’ll be delivering a set filled with the pop-punk fire that fans have come to love.
Ska-punk legends Less Than Jake are also slated to perform, bringing their extensive discography, including hits like “All My Best Friends Are Metalheads,” as well as new material. Their unapologetic, feel-good punk will be a crowd favourite.
Adding to the fresh talent, Mouth Culture—since their explosive debut Mishaps of My Mid Twenties—are proving to be an unstoppable force, while California’s post-hardcore band Movements will also hit the stage. Having garnered rave reviews with their latest single “Afraid to Die,” their Slam Dunk debut promises to be a powerful experience in 2025.
Slam Dunk Festival 2025 is set to celebrate 20 years of Catalyst with pop-punk icons New Found Glory headlining, promising fans an unforgettable set packed with era-defining hits like “All Downhill From Here” and “My Friends Over You.” Joining the festival’s star-studded lineup is rising Bristol nu-gaze band Split Chain, hardcore punk heavyweights Stray From The Path, and 90s cult pop-punk favourites The Ataris, who are still rocking strong.
Pennsylvania’s The Starting Line, known for anthems like “The Best Of Me” and “Bedroom Talk,” will also grace the stage, alongside The Used, fresh off rave reviews for their latest album MEDZ. Additionally, punk icons Zebrahead will bring their energetic vibes with tracks from their upcoming EP, continuing their self-declared “third era” in style.
Since 2006, Slam Dunk has been a staple on the UK festival circuit, renowned for showcasing the best in rock, alt, pop-punk, metal, and emo. Spread across two locations in Leeds and Hertfordshire, it’s hailed by NME as “one of the UK’s most exciting young festivals” and DIY as “one of the best outings in recent years.” With a lineup that mixes legends, global rock icons, and emerging talent, Slam Dunk 2025 is shaping up to be a must-attend event.
