Cheltenham’s alt-music festival, 2000 Trees, has announced its 2025 lineup, including all five headlining acts.
Taking place from July 9 to 12 at Upcote Farm, the festival will kick off on Thursday with co-headliners Kneecap and Pvris. On Friday, Taking Back Sunday and Coheed And Cambria will share top billing, while Alexisonfire will close out the weekend with a headline performance on Saturday.
The undercard is equally impressive, featuring acts such as Kid Kapichi, Bambie Thug, Million Dead, Røry, Gel, Employed To Serve, Heriot, Imminence, and many more. The full lineup can be seen on the poster below.
Festival booker James Scarlett shared his excitement: “This is literally the biggest announcement we’ve ever made for 2000 Trees. We’re thrilled to finally bring in some classic bands we’ve been pursuing for years, all making their long-awaited debut at Trees. We’re also honoured to host Pvris and Kneecap for their first-ever UK festival headlining performances.
“Tickets are flying, and calling 2025 a legendary year would be an understatement. Miss it at your own risk.”
Alexisonfire’s vocalist, George Pettit, added: “Alexis is very excited to be playing 2000 Trees next year. By the time we’re done, there will be significantly fewer trees left standing.”
Kneecap shared: “We’re buzzing to return to 2000 Trees as a headliner. Our last gig there was a festival highlight, and this one promises to be even bigger!”
Taking Back Sunday wrote: “We’ve been hearing great things about 2000 Trees for a while, and we were thrilled to get the call for 2025. We’re excited to see who else is performing and can’t wait for a new festival experience.”
In 2024, 2000 Trees was held from July 10 to 13, with headliners The Gaslight Anthem, The Chats, and Don Broco. Metal Hammer attended and highlighted 10 standout performances, including sets from Bob Vylan and Delilah Bon.
