As one of TNA’s flagship pay-per-views, Bound for Glory has hosted many legendary matches and wrestlers. While some competitors have etched their names in history with multiple victories at the event, others haven’t been as fortunate. This list highlights wrestlers who have competed at Bound for Glory but never secured a win. While a few still have a chance to break their losing streaks, others might never get that opportunity. Welcome to Pop Culture Sports, and here are 10 TNA Wrestlers Who’ve Never Won at Bound for Glory:
10. Dezmond Xavier & Zachary Wentz
Since debuting in 2018, The Rascalz have been a fan-favorite trio in TNA, showcasing incredible matches in both tag team and singles competition. However, two of its members—Dezmond Xavier and Zachary Wentz—remain winless at Bound for Glory. Their first match at the event came in 2019 when Dez, Wentz, and Trey Miguel lost to Aero Star, Black Taurus, and Dr. Wagner Jr. on the preshow. The next year wasn’t much better, as Dez and Wentz suffered a quick loss to Cody Deaner and Cousin Jake (Jake Something) in another preshow match.
By 2021, Trey Miguel became the only Rascalz member to score a Bound for Glory win, defeating Steve Maclin and El Phantasmo for the X Division Title. Wentz returned to TNA in 2023, but he and Trey failed to retain their tag titles against Ace Austin and Chris Bey at that year’s event. With the WWE-TNA partnership allowing crossover appearances, there’s still hope for Dez and Wentz to finally pick up a Bound for Glory victory.
9. Steve Maclin
Since joining TNA in 2021, Steve Maclin has competed in three Bound for Glory matches, all ending in defeat. He lost the aforementioned triple threat X Division Title match in 2021, finished as runner-up in the 2022 Call Your Shot Gauntlet (losing to Bully Ray), and was defeated in a four-way Monster’s Ball match at BFG 2023 after interference from—once again—Bully Ray. As a former TNA World Champion, Maclin still has potential to end his Bound for Glory losing streak.
8. Drew Galloway
Before returning to WWE as Drew McIntyre, Drew Galloway established himself as a top-tier talent during his TNA run from 2015 to 2017. Surprisingly, he only wrestled once at Bound for Glory. In 2015, Galloway was pinned in the main event, a three-way match that crowned Matt Hardy as TNA World Champion. He was set to compete for the inaugural Grand Championship at Bound for Glory 2016 but was sidelined by injury. Unless the TNA-WWE partnership brings main roster stars to the promotion, it’s unlikely Drew will grace a Bound for Glory stage again.
7. Low-Ki
A pioneer of the X Division, Low-Ki (formerly Senshi) competed in three Bound for Glory matches, all ending in losses. His 2006 loss saw him drop the X Division Title to Chris Sabin. In 2007, he and Triple X partner Elix Skipper failed to win an Ultimate X match against LAX. Finally, in 2008, he lost a triple threat match for the X Division Title to Samoa Joe. Currently active in Major League Wrestling, it seems unlikely Low-Ki will return to Bound for Glory.
6. Matt Morgan
Despite being a multi-time TNA World Tag Team Champion, Matt Morgan’s Bound for Glory performances consistently ended in failure. From his guest enforcer role in 2007 to competing in high-stakes matches from 2008 to 2011, Morgan never secured a victory at the event. For a wrestler nicknamed “The Blueprint,” he unfortunately never built a Bound for Glory win.
5. Rosemary
As TNA’s second-longest-tenured active wrestler, Rosemary’s absence from the Bound for Glory winner’s circle is shocking. In 2016, she and Decay lost the TNA World Tag Team Titles to the Hardy Boyz. In 2017, a planned match with Taya Valkyrie fell through due to visa issues. Her appearances in 2019’s Call Your Shot Gauntlet and as a manager for Taya and Havok in 2021 were equally unsuccessful. Despite her losses, Rosemary remains an integral part of the roster, leaving the door open for her first Bound for Glory win.
4. Deonna Purrazzo
Despite her reputation as one of TNA’s top talents, Deonna Purrazzo has struggled at Bound for Glory. Her 2020 title defense ended in defeat to Su Yung. In 2021, she lost another Knockouts Championship match to Mickie James. In 2022, she and Chelsea Green failed to retain the Knockouts Tag Titles. Most recently, in 2023, she and Tasha Steelz lost to MK Ultra in a YouTube-exclusive match. Now signed with AEW, Purrazzo’s chances of breaking her streak are slim.
3. Awesome Kong
A legendary figure in the Knockouts Division, Awesome Kong lost all four of her Bound for Glory matches. She fell short in the inaugural Knockouts Gauntlet in 2007, failed to win the title in multi-woman matches in 2008 and 2009, and lost to Gail Kim in 2015. While she remains an icon in the division, her Bound for Glory record remains unblemished by a win.
2. Angelina Love
Despite being a record-setting Knockouts Champion, Angelina Love has a Bound for Glory record nearly as high as her title count. She lost the inaugural Knockouts Gauntlet in 2007 and fell short in multi-woman matches in 2010 and 2011. Love’s Beautiful People stablemates Velvet Sky and Madison Rayne have both scored wins at the event, but Angelina remains winless.
1. Christopher Daniels
A cornerstone of TNA’s X Division, Christopher Daniels holds the dubious distinction of having the most Bound for Glory losses—eight in total. His 2005 debut match at the event saw him lose to AJ Styles in a 30-minute Iron Man match. From 2006 to 2013, Daniels consistently came up short in high-profile matches, including several title bouts. As AEW’s Head of Talent Relations, Daniels is unlikely to break this streak anytime soon.
