The Rascalz member is a very proud man. “We’re making history in front of your eyes right now.” If you’re listening to Zachary Wentz, his current run in TNA Wrestling is the best he has ever had. He made history recently when he faced his former friend Wes Lee at a WWE NXT PLE as the TNA X-Division Champion, which has never happened before (knowing all the fantastic wrestlers who have been Champions since 2002).
Being a TNA guy and representing the company in WWE NXT is not the easiest thing to handle but Zachary Wentz is enjoying the ride. The X-Division title is the one that fits his style the best and, despite a short run as Champion, he is determined to chase both the X-Division and the Tag Team belts alongside his Rascalz brother, Trey Miguel. His goals seem to be unlimited, as the sky is the limit when he is in the ring.
Tonight on iMPACT!, Zachary Wentz will team up with ABC against Leon Slater, current X-Division Champion Speedball Mike Bailey and Kushida. His eyes remain set on Mike Bailey and the X-Division title he held for only 14 days in his first run. Would he like to regain the title against Bailey at Bound For Glory? Absolutely, as the fans would love to see them “fight forever” as they chant it.
In the interview below, Zachary Wentz tells us all about what the X-Division title means to him, making history as a TNA guy being in a WWE’s NXT show, working with Speedball Mike Bailey, his “brother” Trey Miguel, being a TNA guy (compared to an iMPACT guy), being back in NXT as Zachary Wentz (and not as Nash Carter anymore), his goals in TNA, the road to Bound For Glory, and many more…
